h.IFAD-International Fund For Agricultural Development--- The Nigerian federal government has in the month of august 2012 made a partnership development programme with   I FAD valuedat $105.2m which comprises $74m credit from I FAD, a grant of $0.5m by I FAD, while the federal government, state government and the local government councils would provide counterpart contributions to the tune of $31.2m. The project will be implemented over a period of six years to fund rice and cassava production.
